The Class of 2017 are celebrating after they received their HSC results yesterday. They have done exceptionally well and should be very happy with what they have achieved.

Alyssa Conejar and Julia Warren both received a Premier’s All Rounder Award, for scoring in the top band for at least 10 units of their HSC courses. Julia also placed 9th in the State for Food Technology. Special mention should also be made of Aiesha Oringo and Teresa Smith who were both nominated for Encore, an event that showcases some of the best HSC performances in Music.

Overall, Montgrove received 21 Distinguished Achiever awards from 69 exams. In other words, the girls achieved the top band for 30.4% of their exams. Due to the small size of the cohort, Montgrove’s rank is not published in the newspaper, but with this percentage, Montgrove would have ranked number 40 in the State.
