After their end of year exams, the Year 10 students went on a 3 day service camp in the Central Coast. We had great weather and great company. The girls volunteered at several organisations which challenged them and offered them new perspectives.

The staff at Peninsula Aged Care were so grateful for the help running recreational activities including poetry-writing, exercise and singing with the choir. The girls were moved to observe how much the staff cared for the residents. The Rotary Club was so impressed to see young girls contribute their time and energy to removing graffiti from the streets and cleaning up local parks and beaches that they interviewed them for the local newspaper. This activity fostered such a great appreciation of the environment that we couldn’t help but notice every piece of rubbish and graffiti for the rest of the trip!
