Information for New Parents

At Montgrove we have well-articulated links between parents and school. There are well-established structures in place so that each individual child can attain real goals for personal growth.  This is the vision that makes the PARED schools distinctive.

Much planning exists to ensure families new to the College are given support. Each year new parents are invited to attend the Orientation Seminar and Information for New Parents, while parents of younger students are invited to participate in the First Steps Program.  During these events the idealism and the enthusiasm of other members of the school community can be experienced first hand.

It is an expectation of the College that each term parents attend the Key Parent Function, applicable to their child's class, and a meeting with their child's tutor.

It is the College’s policy that families relocating from our College give a term’s written notice.  A term’s fees will be charged should such notice not be received.

Each new family is given a copy of the Parents Handbook which details events, dates and useful information of College life throughout the year.
