The Montgrove College Library is a welcoming learning area. The Library offers a dedicated fiction, as well as a well-resourced non-fiction collection catering for students from K – 12.  Individual and group study areas, class-sized teaching spaces, computer access, audio visual area and a conference room is available for use. Adjacent to the library is a designated teacher resource and planning area. The librarian works with the teachers to source relevant and stimulating resources that are conducive to the student’s learning. Resources are available to parents in the Parent Library which supports them in their roles as being the primary educators of their children.

To help students develop interest and competency in reading, the Teacher Librarian provides opportunities for the students to visit the library and immerse themselves in an environment that is colourful, engaging and promotes a love of literature. The students are encouraged to take part in National and State reading initiatives such as the Premier’s Reading Challenge and National Literacy and Numeracy Week.
