School Sports Program

Montgrove College has a growing culture for sport.

As part of the curriculum, K-4 participate in non-competitive sporting opportunities. In Years 5-12 opportunities to be involved in a sporting team or individual activity are strongly encouraged and supported.

The College is involved with the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA) and the Hills Zone Sporting Association (HZSA) giving the opportunity for our students to compete at higher levels against other schools further from our school Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country Carnivals.

Montgrove College has a strong involvement in parent run clubs such as Basketball, Soccer and Rowing for students with a keen interest and ability in those areas.

Montgrove College believes sport is an integral part of a student’s learning as it develops skills, fosters sportsmanship and enjoyment as well as equipping students for lifelong regular participation in sport and recreational activities.
